NEEDLE BEARINGS: Barbells with bearings have a much a smoother rotation for friction free movement, therefore are better for Olympic style lifts than bars with bushings. Our precision Needle Bearing that is substantially larger, stronger and higher load rated than conventional bearings found in cheaper bars. Needle Bearings allow the bar sleeve spin unrestricted at all loads and have a smooth feel with no play up and down on the bar shaft.
MOUNTAIN KNURL GRIP- Barbell diamond knurling pattern on the shaft of Olympic Barbells increases grip and less need for chalk. Ideal for powerlifting moves: squat, bench press, and deadlift. No center knurling for maximum comfort while doing front or back squats without irritation to your neck.
