Combat Computer-Related Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) with Powerball
Did you know that computer use is one of the most common causes of a repetitive strain injury (RSI)? Typing and using a computer mouse require small, precise repetitive movements that over time can cause irritation and discomfort in the hand, wrist and fingers. This discomfort can quickly turn into the beginnings of a painful RSI, such as carpal tunnel syndrome or tendonitis. Powerball is a highly-effective tool for maintaining hand and wrist health and will help combat RSI from computer use.

Rehabilitate RSI & Other Injuries
In the case of most jobs, not working with a computer means not working at all and so, when you have a computer-related RSI, it’s not that easy to do as the doctor says and just “rest up for a couple of weeks”.
If you are suffering from an RSI (repetitive strain injury) or another type of injury as a result of computer use at work, then Powerball is for you. Powerball promotes the flow of healing, oxygen-rich nutrients to sore muscles, tendons and bones, where they quickly repair any damage. Simply spinning Powerball for a few minutes a day, even at slow speeds, is enough to rehabilitate an injury, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, tennis elbow or other RSIs.
What’s important to note is that exercise with Powerball is 100% non-impact. This means that Powerball use doesn’t stretch the muscle, but rather stimulate it. Simulation of the muscle doesn’t hurt, even if that muscle is sore – so you can use Powerball to rehabilitate your injury without worrying about pain or causing further damage.
Relieve Wrist Hand & Finger Pain
Powerball is the only device you need for effective wrist pain relief. Spin Powerball for just a couple of seconds and feel an immediate improvement as it soothes and relieves pain not only in your wrist, but along the entire kinetic chain of the arm.
This is because Powerball use massively increases circulation and promotes the flow of oxygen throughout your entire upper body. The increase in oxygen relieves pain almost instantly providing you with fast and effective relief. Make nagging wrist pain a thing of the past – Powerball is a fast and effective wrist pain remedy with long-term results. Pick up a Powerball and experience the benefits for yourself today.
Stay Protected At Work & Home
From doctors and writers, to designers and receptionists – not to mention those working in tech – computers enable us to learn, organise and communicate both within our working environment and home life better than we ever have before. It is exciting, but we also need to realise that there are consequences to spending hours on our devices. Computer use keeps our hands stationary for most of the time – and when they are moving (typing), it puts a lot of pressure on our wrists and fingers. Hours of these repetitive movements leave us at risk to an RSI like carpal tunnel, tendonitis, etc. Ergonomic keyboards and braces will only plaster over the cracks, whereas Powerball goes directly to the root cause in repairing the damage done by repetitive computer use.
Powerball is a conveniently-sized exerciser that you can easily keep on your desk at work, in your home office, by the TV or simply in your handbag for regular spin sessions throughout the day. There are only positives to using Powerball:
- Keep RSI symptoms at bay
- Combat inactivity and stiffness
- Warm up the hand while on the computer
You can literally spin Powerball while using your mouse. It is a simple, straight-forward and immensely powerful device that will keep you protected against any computer-related injury both at work and at home.
Warm Up During Periods of Inactivity
Inactivity of the limbs is another major cause of work-related injury. Activities where your hands and wrists are kept stationary for long periods of time can cause reduced blood flow and stiffness. Using a computer for hours at a time is a great example of this – think about it: if your hand is resting on a computer mouse, unmoving except for one finger (which is barely moving at all), then circulation in that hand is going to be very poor.
That’s why it is so important to take a break every 40 minutes or so. Stretching and shaking out your hand will get the blood flowing for a few seconds, but it isn’t really enough. That’s where Powerball comes in. Powerball is like high-intensity exercise for your hands, wrists and forearms. Spinning Powerball for as little as 30 seconds at regular intervals throughout the day is enough to boost circulation in the hand and keep any symptoms of stiffness or RSI at bay.

How Exactly Does Regular Computer Use Cause RSI?
The fine and precise hand and finger movements needed to operate a mouse and keyboard repeated thousands of times daily (overuse) causes strain and microscopic tearing of the forearm muscles, which power the wrist, hands and fingers. Injured muscles tend to contract, causing decreased range of motion and tendon inflammation at either the elbow or wrist joints (or very often both). Inflamed tendons may additionally compress the median nerve running through the carpal tunnel in the wrist and bringing with it severe hand pain and numbness (a condition commonly known as carpal tunnel syndrome).
